Each $5 play buys three selections of seven numbers from 1 to 50. You pick the first selection (or Quick Pick); the terminal generates the other two.
Match all seven numbers on any one selection to win or share the jackpot. Smaller prizes run down to 3/7 (a free play).
In Alberta you can play at any lottery retailer or online through PlayAlberta. Draws close at 7:30 pm MT on draw nights.
Jackpots start at $10 million and roll until won, capping at $80 million; once the cap is passed, extra money is drawn as separate $1 million Max Millions prizes.
The honest math: jackpot odds are 1 in 33,294,800 per selection. Playing more does not make a win "due" — every draw is independent. Treat a ticket as entertainment spending, never as a plan.
